Pain Relief - Self-help program

How it works

"Pain Relief” contains suggestion-psychological elements that have proven in the field of pain abatement:

1. Relaxation music with a rhythm of 60 beats per minute
2. Pleasurable images (a walk in a park scenery, a cosy evening in front of the fire)
3. Deepening the relaxation by a “dream in dream”: The listener chills out on a park bench – and in front of his/her inner eyes a cosy chimney-room appears by being encouraged to physical mental well-being by many suggestions.
4. Whispering voices that are specially arranged in stereo-panorama and are audibly separate to the main voice, impart additional relaxation-supporting and pain-killing suggestions. Those “invisible helpers” accompany the listener during the whole fantasy-trip.
5. The simultaneous performance of several voices, their different intonation, their position in stereo-image and in special echo chambers are a very important therapeutic element.

Experiences in pain ambulance

Our relaxation and suggestion methods are basically a supplementary practice – no matter what pathology was given and what pain-therapeutic method was used. A combined therapy has been superior to a single medical one with patients that didn’t refuse any psychological therapy, even if the relevant person had had a longer “pain career” and had almost resigned to always experience this pain.
